Osob for Ward 6
Progress rooted in strong neighbourhoods, wellbeing, and a connected Burlington.

What I Stand For
The O.S.O.B. Approach to Ward 6
These four values guide how I'd show up as your councillor, in every meeting, every conversation, and every decision at City Hall.
Listening carefully and understanding the needs of residents and neighbourhoods.
Planning thoughtfully and responsibly for Burlington's long-term future.
Encouraging diverse thinking and respectful conversations that bring communities together.
Protecting neighbourhood character, green space, and quality of life while planning responsibly for Burlington's future.
Meet Osob
A Neighbour Who Happens to Be Running for Council
I'm a longtime Burlington resident, community leader, entrepreneur, and the mother of four adult children. Years ago I was honoured to be named Burlington's Citizen of the Year, and what earned that recognition is the same thing I'd bring to City Hall: showing up, listening, and bringing people together.
Years of organizing across Ward 6 means I know the streets, the schools, the country roads, and what residents in Alton Village, Millcroft, Headon Forest, and our rural north talk about at the park or over coffee.
I'm running for Ward 6 because Burlington deserves a councillor who treats every resident as a neighbour, not a file number.

Out in Ward 6
Real Conversations, Close to Home
On June 6, neighbours from across Ward 6 came out to meet, share what's on their minds, and connect over coffee. These conversations shape everything I'd bring to City Hall, and there are more on the way.
The Platform
What I'd Bring to City Hall
Five priorities shaped by what Ward 6 residents have told me they care about, in living rooms, at school pickup, and on the trails.
Strong neighbourhood connections
Building on what already makes Alton Village, Millcroft, Headon Forest, and the rural north of Ward 6 feel like home. People know their neighbours, look out for one another, and take pride in where they live. Community safety starts there: strong neighbourhoods, real relationships, and residents who feel engaged in their community. I'll work to protect that sense of connection and belonging as Burlington changes.
Protecting parks, trails, and green spaces
Ward 6's parks and trails are the heart of how families spend their weekends. I'll advocate to protect them, maintain them properly, and keep them accessible for every neighbour.
Thoughtful, balanced growth
Burlington is growing. Growth should serve residents, not the other way around. That means planning that respects neighbourhood character and brings residents into the conversation early.
Accessible public spaces
Community centres, libraries, splash pads, gathering places. The spaces that let neighbours become neighbours. I'll push for spaces that work for every age and ability in Ward 6.
Better resident-to-City Hall communication
Too often residents hear about decisions after they're made. I'll bring residents into conversations earlier and make sure Ward 6 voices reach the council table.
Getting around Ward 6
The concern I hear most often at the door is traffic. Getting to the QEW or the GO station can take two or three times longer than it did a few years ago, and for busy families, commuters, and seniors, that lost time adds up. As Ward 6 changes, our roads and transit connections have to keep pace. I'll push for transportation planning that reflects the daily realities of getting to work, school, and back home.
This Campaign Runs on Ward 6
The neighbours who volunteer an hour, host a sign, or share this page with a friend are the people who build the Ward 6 we want. Pick whatever fits your week.
