Five Priorities for Ward 6

Shaped by years of conversations with residents across Alton Village, Millcroft, Headon Forest, and the rural north of the ward.

Priority 1

Strong neighbourhood connections

Building on what already makes Alton Village, Millcroft, Headon Forest, and the rural north of Ward 6 feel like home. More opportunities to gather, more ways for residents to know each other, more inclusivity in the places we share.

Priority 2

Protecting parks, trails, and green spaces

Ward 6's parks and trails are the heart of how families spend their weekends. I'll advocate to protect them, maintain them properly, and keep them accessible for every neighbour.

Priority 3

Thoughtful, balanced growth

Burlington is growing. Growth should serve residents, not the other way around. That means planning that respects neighbourhood character and brings residents into the conversation early.

Priority 4

Accessible public spaces

Community centres, libraries, splash pads, gathering places. The spaces that let neighbours actually become neighbours. I'll push for spaces that work for every age and ability in Ward 6.

Priority 5

Better resident-to-City Hall communication

Too often residents hear about decisions after they're made. I'll bring residents into conversations earlier and make sure Ward 6 voices reach the council table.
