The Northeast Quadrant of Burlington

Ward 6 covers Alton Village, Millcroft, Headon Forest, and the rural north of the city. If you live north of the QEW and east of Walker's Line, there's a good chance you're in it.

Rough Boundaries

Ward 6 sits in the northeast corner of Burlington. The southern edge runs along the QEW, the western edge sits around Walker's Line, the eastern edge is Burloak Drive at the Oakville boundary, and the northern reach climbs above Highway 407 into the rural escarpment communities.

Communities in Ward 6

Four distinct communities, all part of Ward 6, each with their own character and priorities.

Alton Village

Newer development north of Dundas, between Walker's and Appleby. Young families, busy parks, and lots of growth.

Millcroft

Established neighbourhood around the Millcroft Golf Club. Engaged residents, deep history with the golf course redevelopment file.

Headon Forest

Family neighbourhood with a strong trail network, anchored by Headon Forest Plaza and a real sense of community identity.

Rural north Burlington

North of Highway 407 to the Niagara Escarpment. Rural roads, farms, hamlets, and the green space that makes Burlington Burlington.
