Why I'm running
But first, get to know me
I am determined to help Ward 6 become a connected, safe, and vibrant community. I'm running for Ward 6 because I believe residents deserve a strong, accountable, and transparent voice at City Hall. Someone who listens, does the homework, asks the hard questions, and isn't afraid to speak up when something doesn't add up. That's the kind of leadership I want to bring to Ward 6.
I have experienced Burlington through many stages of life: as a resident building a life here, a parent raising a family, a corporate professional, a community advocate, a non-profit and community-development leader, and now a local business owner. Each chapter has given me a different perspective on Burlington and a deeper understanding of the people, challenges, and opportunities that shape our city.
Years of organizing across Ward 6 mean I know the streets, the schools, the country roads, and what residents in Alton Village, Millcroft, Headon Forest, and our rural north talk about at the park or over coffee.
We need change rooted in connected progress, and I am here to deliver it to Ward 6.

Out in Ward 6
Conversations close to home
I'm at Fortinos on Appleby every Thursday evening and Saturday morning through August and September. Drop in for coffee, questions, or a quick hello. These conversations shape everything I'd bring to City Hall.
My priorities
What I will fight for
Five priorities shaped by what Ward 6 residents have told me they care about, in living rooms, at school pickup, and on the trails.
Taxpayer accountability
Your tax dollars deserve scrutiny. I will scrutinize spending, challenge unnecessary costs, push for clear, easy-to-read taxpayer reporting, and I will not vote for a tax increase in 2027.
Safer neighbourhoods
Speeding. Break-ins. Theft. Dangerous intersections. Traffic. I will find out what is already being done, identify where the gaps are, work with the right partners to push for action, and report back on progress.
Infrastructure before development
Growth cannot outrun infrastructure. What is planned, what is funded, and when will it be delivered? I will understand the work already underway and ask the hard questions about roads, stormwater, parks, and public services before supporting major development.
Protect green space
Growth must not come at the expense of our natural areas. I will stand up for Ward 6 green spaces and demand answers on environmental impacts, flood protection, and resilience.
Better parks, stronger community
Better parks build a stronger community. I will push for accessible parks, recreation and gathering spaces, vibrant neighbourhoods supported by a business improvement area (BIA), local farmers markets, and resident voices at the table.
